Gateway X is looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to manage digital marketing efforts as we scale our newest brand, Unbloat!

About Unbloat:

As many as a third of women suffer persistent daily bloating.  (Bloating is searched more often than Erectile Dysfunction!)  The causes are diverse, but now there is a single solution: Unbloat.  Unbloat is the first daily supplement that reliably battles all the major root causes of daily bloating.  Developed with the support of a top GI doctor, it combines digestive enzymes, probiotics, fiber, magnesium, and natural herbal remedies in a simple daily pill.  It’s a product designed to help busy modern women overcome a serious physical, medical, and emotional problem - and make the most of their day, every day.  It’s a product that helps people feel better, look better, and perform better; and it requires a high-quality brand and a high-caliber marketing campaign to convey that to customers.  In the future we foresee potentially rolling out additional products under the “Un” brand - but for the coming year Unbloat will likely be the sole product we market.

About the role:

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute an overall marketing and growth strategy for the Unbloat brand.

  • Execute and scale paid media campaigns on Facebook and Tiktok, including AB testing, creative rotation, budget and day-to-day optimizations.

  • Fingers to keys execution with opportunity to grow into a leadership role as you and the company scale.

  • Provide regular reporting and insights on a weekly basis

  • Build and manage system for unique creative from influencers and creators, especially Tiktok video content.  

  • Manage landing page strategy, source new landing pages for the brand, and customize shopper experiences to ad/creative strategies.

  • Create an optimization roadmap with a clear sense of targeting and creative needs.

  • Define goals, measure and analyze performance, and report marketing results to the brand General Manager and founder/CEO.

  • Lead strategic marketing meetings and provide expertise in media strategy and driving business outcomes.  

  • Supervise junior marketing assistants and external contractors.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively at all times, including articulating a high-level marketing vision & strategy, establishing and aligning on clear goals, and clarifying and tracking deliverables for all parties.

The Growth Marketing Lead will report directly to the brand’s General Manager, and will work closely with the entire Gateway X team, including founder and CEO Jesse Pujji.

Location is flexible for this role.  The Unbloat team will work remotely three weeks per month, and work together in St. Louis one week per month.

About you:

  • Experience: Bachelor’s degree from a top university with a quantitative major; 5-7 years of experience in a data-driven field, such as performance marketing, media buying, ecommerce, lead generation, financial services, or consulting and 1+ year of “hands on keys” Facebook & Paid Social experience

  • Use of quantitative tools: Help make business decisions using quantitative data derived from Excel, statistical analysis and data visualization

  • Quantitative & Logical: You love numbers and you enjoy a great puzzle where you have to break it down into individual pieces and think through a compelling and structured solution

  • Experimental doer: Your answer to “will it work” is usually “lets try it!” You enjoy trying and testing things.  You bring rigor and creativity to this process.

  • Project management experience, including setting project objectives, determining a road map, and using PM skills/tools to drive success of initiatives

  • Exceptional leadership skills demonstrated through either experience managing and leading teams or peer mentorship

  • Highly empathetic: You deeply understand your team, your customers, and your stakeholders. You are able to put yourself in their shoes to improve their experiences.
